Participation Conditions
The nominated book must be new and original in its field.
The first edition must have been published within the past two years prior to the current SIBF.
Revised editions are not eligible.
A writer who has won The Best Arabic Novel Award in the past two years is not eligible.
SIBF has the right to use covers or excerpts from awarded books for marketing purposes without further approval from the publisher or writer.
Copies of submitted books will not be returned.
How to Apply:
Submit three hard copies of the nominated book.
Submit a completed participation form online or print the electronic form and resend it by mail.
Arbitration and Criteria
Jury decisions are final and cannot be contested.
Winners are required to attend the awards ceremony.
Recognition will be given to the author alone.
The value of the prize will be divided equally between the author and the publishing house, unless otherwise stated in the publishing contract.
Winners shall be announced at the start of the current SIBF.
