Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) was established in 1982 by H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. He founded it to bring to life his vision of creating a nation of readers. The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) has crossed $50 million in sales. It's a 12-day cultural and literary event where book lovers can browse through millions of books. The fair also connects authors and publishers from all over the globe and facilitates meetings to discuss current trends and opportunities.
Today, SIBF is the third-largest book fair in the world. It is the most prestigious event in the Arab world and a hub for the most exciting literary events in the region. SIBF has been awarded membership to various international organizations and has been recognized by the International Publishers’ Association. SIBF offers captivating events and activities such as author signings, panel discussions, and workshops.
